The Basics of Love

After stumbling into an armed robbery on New Year’s Eve, two sanitation workers are caught off-guard by feelings for one another that they didn’t realize they had.

This is a love story without a kiss; it’s about the exact moment in time two people realize they’re falling in love. When we set out to make this love story we were excited by the challenge of approaching the genre in the short form. We decided to face this challenge by trying to capture a single moment in time, in this case the very beginning of a relationship.
