An occult researcher continues her dead mentor’s work: studying the decline of the rural population in Ontario.

On the belief that witchcraft is a primary historical factor in the decline, she experiments with an arcane ritual in an attempt to understand the phenomenon.

Directors Statement (Samuel Scott) : I made this film in order to explore the fascinating, archaic folklore of witchcraft. A great amount of attention was paid to include accurate portrayals of the rituals and rumours that persist surrounding the history of witches and witch-hunting . In addition, a number of strange and intriguing easter eggs have been woven into the short, which serve to turn the film itself into a something of a chaos ritual. Watch…if you dare!
