The story behind the film
Written, rehearsed and shot in one weekend, this is an autobiographical processing of ageing and life changes that catch you off-guard, by two friends who are at different stages of acceptance when it comes to those changes. The characters in the short closely mirror their real-life counterparts. Noel and I have been friends for nearly 30 years and have been making films together for the past 20. After a long creative hiatus, it was invigorating to get back into the saddle together and find out how we had changed as people, as creators, and as friends.
