A young woman navigates her day in an eerily calm dystopian environment. The setting is empty; streets and supermarkets are devoid of people yet filled with trash and devastation. Despite its tranquil appearance, this world harbors inevitable threats. Everything falls apart, on the verge of collapse. This situation demands strict, high-stakes choices from her.

“Tidal Currents” is a deeply personal exploration of isolation and loneliness. The protagonist must navigate a world ravaged by spontaneous combustion, a powerful symbol of the modern world’s atrocities and self-destruction. Her only choice is to reject fire as a force of chaos and embrace water, the elemental opposite, as a symbol of renewal and hope.
The creation process began by generating static images using Midjourney, where the initial visual concept is formed. These images were then sometimes refined and edited in Adobe Firefly, enhancing specific details or stylistic elements. Once the static images were finalized, they were passed through Luma Dream Machine, transforming them into dynamic videos, creating smooth transitions and movement from the still visuals.
