The story behind the film

An estranged relationship in a dystopian world forms the basis for my story, The Quiet. I have always marveled at the way families give love and the things they are capable of doing to preserve love. This story demonstrates the power of one family’s love in the face of death and despair.

The Quiet manifests the inability of truth and its tragic consequences. My personal experiences have shown me that inability can lead to irreversible damage. Deception burns relationships in time and this tale cautions against secrets kept. I share this uncomfortable story with you, not only to marvel at the power of unconditional love, but also to recognize the pain of our personal truths when left in silence.
