This film is led by a team of rising female filmmakers based out of NY. This short centers around a queer relationship, breaking free from the binary canon of traditional love stories. Stick Bug illustrates the inherent vulnerability that comes with deeply caring for somebody – the way that the joy of intimacy is inextricably tied to the fear of loss and heartbreak.
