On The Moon

“On The Moon” is a short visual narrative following the story of the first social circus group in Zambia. Founded by Gift Chansa, Circus Zambia aims to fight the stigma and challenges of growing up in Chibolya – a township notorious for drugs and violence. Through the talent, drive and need for change the company provides opportunity for disadvantaged people to rise up and become change makers. From performing in the streets of Lusaka to venturing out globally, Circus Zambia has created a safe haven for the youth to prosper in their talents as well as spread information on global issues to the community. The company highlights the importance of keeping ones mind and body strong, and to fulfil one’s aspirations despite their background.
