My creative intention was to combine the style features of an experimental short film with a music video, both in terms of sound and visual appearance. Although there is no linear narrative in the film, I tried to create a chain in the plot line when directing the film. The goal was to make it impossible for the viewer to decide whether what they saw could be taken seriously or not. A strange mixture of fiction and reality appears in the film, which at times seems dramatic and at other times funny. In addition to digital filmmaking, the atmosphere of analog filmmaking also appears in this short film, which further enhances the film’s mystery.
The film focuses on the diversity and mysterious omnipotence of the human face.
An important aspect of the cast selection was that the two characters should be able to suggest the same identity to the viewer both externally and internally.
The cycle of life; the theme of identity; everything is not what it seems. These themes are the focus of the film.
It was a special challenge for me. A special experiment with film genres and filmmaking itself!
