I was hired to document these 10 photographers and I was worried that it could be boring to see 10 people doing the same thing in different places. So I tried to find the differences between them and take advantage of them. I was amazed by how differently they each one of them approach their art and I ended up adapting the style of the documentary to the personalities and styles of the different photographers. So, for example we used hand held, wide lenses, 4:3 format, “in-your-face! kind of punk style for street photographers such as Taylor Pendleton on one hand and still tripod shots on telephoto lenses and widescreen format for landscapes photographer Nick Carver on the other (and everything in between for the rest of them) — Jaime Dezcallar
