Shot entirely on an iPhone with a budget of $0, this film was created as a one-person crew—handling everything from Camera Operating to Score to ADR and VFX—during the first ten months of my son’s life. In the stolen moments of sleepless nights, it became a testament to my wife and our journey into parenthood.

Desperation is a story about love, though not a love story in the traditional sense. It explores the enduring, relentless love of a parent—a love that is not glamorous or neat, but raw, stubborn, and unfathomably deep. It is about standing at the edge of the abyss and finding the strength to stare down whatever lies beyond.

Through this project, my family has bonded, broken down, and rebuilt itself stronger than ever. It is our honor to share this journey with you.
