I wanted to explore what a biblical-like event would look like in modern times. The blind belief in a higher power has always fascinated me because it’s often perceived as a guaranteed good outcome, which isn’t always true and that’s what most people fail to realize and it’s pretty much what the entire story of this film was built off of. The truth and what you have to understand is this, there’s always going to be a test, and the test is almost always going to bring you unimaginable pain, now if you can endure that pain and still keep your belief that’s when the rewards will come.
