These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Retrospective of Jupiter’s Website.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Retrospective of Jupiter’s website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

 

In general

We are not responsible for the films shown on retrospectiveofjupiter.com, nor are we their creators. We dissociate ourselves from any film content shown on this platform. For any inquiries and information about films, we ask you to contact the respective creator of the film directly.

 

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “Retrospective of Jupiter”, “www.retrospectiveofjupiter.com”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Country. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

 

Online store

Of course we hope that you are satisfied with the ordered article. However, it can happen that one size does not fit or that a product arrives damaged. Within 30 days after receipt you can return the item or request a refund. After this time period has expired, a return or refund is no longer possible.

An order placed on Retrospective of Jupiter can be delivered to most countries. However, there are products that cannot be delivered to certain countries. If a product cannot be delivered to your country, we will contact you as soon as possible and refund your order in full.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return or refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at shop(at)retrospectiveofjupiter.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please use our form here.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods or custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. All sale items are final sale and cannot be returned; Any returned sale product will not be given store credit.
 We strongly recommend that you insure your return and get proof of delivery.
Please note that we will only return or exchange items bought at retrospectiveofjupiter.com. Merchandise purchased from other retailers, including department or specialty stores, must be returned to the store from which it was originally purchased, and is subject to the return policy of the originating retailer.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Clothes
Did you order the wrong size or colour?

Please note that returned clothes can only be exchanged for a different size or color, refund in cash is not possible. Once we have received your return, we will process your return and send you a new article in the desired size.

Returns and exchanges must be in original, unworn condition, and include all tags, original packaging, and original invoice. Please include also your desired size and the order number, which can be found in the received email. Costs for the return shipment are at the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping costs will be charged for a new shipment of a product. Please get in touch with us by using the following email address shop(at)retrospectiveofjupiter.com. We will not send a new item until these new shipping costs are paid.

We charge the following shipping costs:
Shipping within Switzerland: 8$
Shipping within Europe: 10$
Shipping to other countries: 20$

 

For filmmakers

Film rights of short films
We do not claim any film rights. We only show films that are already loaded on Vimeo or Youtube and therefore freely accessible. The film rights belong to the respective filmmakers. As a filmmaker you maintain all ownership of the filmmaterial presented on this website. For any inquiries regarding the published films on this website, please contact the respective filmmaker.

Invalid links
We ask the filmmakers to inform us if a film has been deleted and the respective film link on retrospectiveofjupiter.com is therefore no longer valid.
Please note that we regularly check the film links on retrospectiveofjupiter.com for actuality. If we find film links which are no longer valid, we reserve the right to delete the respective film pages on www.retrospectiveofjupiter.com without notifying the respective filmmaker.

Remove films from the platform
Filmmakers may notify us if they wish to have their film page or their Making Of removed from retrospectiveofjupiter.com. We kindly ask the filmmakers to send us an email to hi@retrospectiveofjupiter.com. Please include the exact URL of the www.retrospectiveofjupiter.com film page in the mail. Please give us two to three weeks to remove the page.

Rejected films
Please note that we reserve the right not to publish submitted films on www.retrospectiveofjupiter.com if the films do not match our basic concept.

Refund Policy
Unfortunately we cannot refund a submission fee after you have submitted your film. Your fee is paid for the consideration and review of your film.
 Submitting your film does not guarantee that your film will be accepted. If your film is not accepted, your submission fee will not be refunded.

Social media
Please note that we also use footages and thumbnails from your submitted film for social media. We run various social media accounts such as Instagram, where we regularly announce new films on www.retrospectiveofjupiter.com. For these posts we use these images and the corresponding film descriptions sent in by the filmmaker.

Making of films for Impact Space BTS
After submitting your Making Of film, we will upload your video to our YouTube channel so you can gain more popularity. Please note that we may add YouTube ads in your video. The reason why we are doing this is so that we can keep this platform running. We will also use your video and/or parts of it on various social platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. If you do not agree with this, please do not upload a video to our platform.

 

Cookies

We employ the use of cookies. By using Retrospective of Jupiter’s website you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with Retrospective of Jupiter’s privacy policy.

Most of the modern day interactive web sites use cookies to enable us to retrieve user details for each visit. Cookies are used in some areas of our site to enable the functionality of this area and ease of use for those people visiting. Some of our affiliate / advertising partners may also use cookies.
