The Hollow Moon by Eric Robison Wins Award in Best Shorts Film Competition

Honolulu, Hawaii, March 21, 2019 – Eric Robison of Imagiboom Entertainment has won a prestigious Award of Excellence from The Best Shorts Film Competition. The award was given for Eric Robison’s captivating short film The Hollow Moon.

Former Disney Imagineer and Creative Director Robison brings his stunning and inspired artwork to this innovative animation – combining gorgeous hand painted art in combination with stop motion silhouettes. The story is of an island boy’s journey to wake up the moon while collecting life wisdom along the way.

“After eight years of painting backgrounds and my sons acting as the character against homemade green screens, I am overjoyed to be recognized for our efforts. My desire was to create an environment that no one has ever seen before; abstract and bizarre, yet familiar to the viewer as Earth. While I was painting the scenes in Hawaii, my son Tanner composed the soundtrack while living in China. The process was extraordinary.”
